About This Model

The Alhambra Iberia Ziricote is a commemorative classical guitar issued to mark Alhambra's 50th anniversary (1965–2015). It features a solid cedar top paired with back and sides of Ziricote (Cordia dodecandra), a visually striking tonewoood known for its dramatic grain patterns. The neck is African Mahogany in Alhambra's ergonomic narrow profile, topped with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard. Construction follows traditional Spanish heel joinery, and the guitar ships strung with D'Addario XTC44 Extra Hard Tension strings. Gold-plated tuning machines complete the build.
