About this model
The AKG P220 is a large-diaphragm true condenser microphone with a fixed cardioid polar pattern, covering a full 20 Hz-20,000 Hz frequency response. It features a sensitivity of 20 mV/Pa and an equivalent noise level of 16 dB-A, making it well-suited to vocal recording, acoustic instruments, and detailed studio capture. A switchable -20 dB attenuation pad raises the maximum SPL handling to 155 dB, while a 300 Hz bass-cut filter helps tame proximity effect or room rumble. Output is via a 3-pin balanced XLR connector, and the microphone requires 44-52 V phantom power. The rugged all-metal body measures 165 mm in length and weighs approximately 514-530 g.
A great opportunity to own a AKG P220 at this price point.
