About this model
The AKG C314 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone built around a 1-inch dual-diaphragm back-electret capsule with computer-matched diaphragms. It offers four selectable polar patterns (cardioid, supercardioid, omnidirectional and figure of eight), so one mic can cover solo vocals, group recording and stereo or ambient setups. A -20 dB pad and a 100 Hz bass cut filter help tame loud sources and low-end rumble, while the 147 dB maximum SPL (A-weighted, without pad) and 8 dB-A equivalent noise level keep it quiet and clean across a wide range of sources. It runs on standard 48 V phantom power via a balanced XLR output and includes an overload LED that glows green when powered and red when clipping.
A great opportunity to own a AKG C314 at this price point.
