About this model
The Access Virus TI Keyboard is a 61-key virtual analog synthesizer built around a dual-DSP sound engine capable of up to 110 voices of polyphony. Its synthesis architecture spans subtractive, wavetable, phase distortion, and FM modes, with each voice drawing on three main oscillators, a sub-oscillator, and a noise source - plus Hypersaw and wavetable oscillator options for dense, layered textures. The TI (Total Integration) platform allows the unit to operate as a standalone hardware synth or as a sample-accurate VST/AU/RTAS plug-in over USB, with USB also serving as an audio interface connection. It is 16-part multitimbral and carries 192 parallel onboard effects alongside three LFOs, a 2D modulation matrix, and a 32-step arpeggiator per patch. Audio connectivity includes three stereo quarter-inch outputs, a stereo input pair, S/PDIF in/out, MIDI In/Out/Thru, and a headphone output - making it a self-contained production centrepiece as well as a performance instrument. The keyboard action is synth-style, non-weighted.
