About This Model

The Zoom G5n is a guitar multi-effects processor built around a 32-bit signal processing engine with 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion at 44.1 kHz. It offers 159 effect types - spanning 127 DSP effects, 16 amp emulators, and 16 cabinet emulators - with up to 9 effects running simultaneously per patch. A built-in expression pedal gives real-time control over parameters, while 200 user patch slots (124 pre-loaded) provide plenty of room for custom tones. The G5n also functions as a USB audio interface for direct computer recording with zero-latency monitoring, and includes an 80-second looper, a dedicated chromatic tuner footswitch, and an aux input for playing along to external audio.
