About this model
The Yamaha RX-V357 is a 5.1-channel home cinema receiver built around a 5-channel power amplifier delivering 100W per channel. It decodes Dolby Digital, DTS, and Pro Logic II, and includes Virtual CINEMA DSP for immersive surround playback. Connectivity covers optical and coaxial digital inputs, two A/V inputs, four composite video inputs, two component video inputs, and a 6-channel external decoder input for discrete multi-channel sources. On-board 192kHz/24-bit D/A converters handle digital audio conversion, while a Centre Graphic Equalizer and subwoofer output give you hands-on control over the sound. A solid mid-2000s AV receiver for building a capable surround sound system without HDMI complexity.
A great opportunity to own a Yamaha RX-V357 at this price point.
