About this model
The Technics SL-PS700 is a compact disc player built around a 1-bit MASH digital-to-analog converter. It offers a quoted frequency response of 2 Hz to 20 kHz, a dynamic range of 98 dB or more and a signal-to-noise ratio of 114 dB or more. Outputs include an analog line output and an optical digital output, plus a headphone output. Features include a Digital Servo System, a Silent Loading Mechanism with swing arm drive, CD editing functions such as Edit Guide and Time Fade, and a Function Manager that assigns 17 functions to 5 keys. A 20-key wireless remote control was part of the original package.
