About this model
The Studiomaster AX235 is a professional 2-channel stereo power amplifier built for live sound and installation use. Running a Class AB+H(3) output circuit, it delivers 710W RMS per channel into 8 ohms, 1100W into 4 ohms, and up to 2900W RMS in bridged mode at 4 ohms. A built-in 2-way active crossover with selectable 100Hz or 150Hz crossover points (3rd order filter) and 35Hz hi-pass filters make it a capable standalone system hub, with 1/4" jack crossover outputs available to drive additional amplifiers. Inputs accept combination XLR and 1/4" jack connections, with a male XLR link socket for daisy-chaining, while outputs use 4-pole industry standard sockets. Twin variable-speed fans with back-to-front airflow manage thermals, and comprehensive protection covers short circuit, thermal, ultrasonic, and RF interference. THD is rated at 0.01-0.02% at 1kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 100dB unweighted - all in a 2U rack chassis weighing 21.8kg.
