The Sony RDR-GX210 is a dual-format DVD recorder capable of recording to DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD+R, and DVD-R media, with playback support extending to DVD, VCD, SVCD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, and JPEG Image CDs. It offers up to six hours of recording time on a standard 4.7GB disc using MPEG II compression, with four selectable quality modes ranging from HQ (60 minutes) to Super Long Play (360 minutes). Connectivity is comprehensive, including two SCART sockets with RGB output, Component Video out, S-Video, stereo phono audio outputs, Digital Coaxial and Optical outputs with Dolby Digital encoding, plus a front-panel DV IN (i.LINK) port.
