About This Model

The Sonicake Vexpress is a compact passive volume and expression pedal suited to guitar, bass, and other instruments. Its standout feature is auto-detection: plug in a mono cable and it operates as a volume pedal; connect a stereo TRS cable to the output and it switches automatically into expression mode - no toggle switch or batteries required. The potentiometer runs at 100k Ohms in volume mode and 10k Ohms in expression mode, covering the resistance ranges expected by the vast majority of effects and amplifiers. At 148.5mm deep, 65.5mm wide, and 61mm tall, it has a genuinely compact footprint that sits neatly on crowded pedalboards without taking up the space of a traditional rocker pedal.
