The Sennheiser e835 is a handheld cardioid dynamic microphone built around a dynamic transducer, requiring no phantom power or batteries to operate. It connects via an XLR-3 male connector and handles sound pressure levels up to 150dB, making it well-suited to loud live vocal applications. An internal shockmount reduces handling noise during performance, while a hum compensating coil helps reject electromagnetic interference.
