The Roland Juno-106 is a 61-key programmable polyphonic synthesiser released by Roland Corporation in February 1984. Juno-106 was one of the first analog synthesisers to incorporate the MIDI standard and featured digitally controlled oscillators and a stereo chorus effect. It was Roland's bestselling synthesiser until the release of the Roland D-50 later in the decade. The Juno-106 has been used by numerous artists, including Jacob Mann, Vince Clarke, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Chvrches, Leftfield, William Orbit, Paul Frick from Tangerine Dream, Underworld, Reel 2 Real, Jam & Spoon, and Vangelis.
