About this model

The Roksan Kandy K2 BT is a solid-state integrated amplifier from the British manufacturer Roksan Audio, combining a line stage, moving-magnet phono input, headphone output and Bluetooth streaming in a single full-size chassis. Power output is rated at 140 watts into 8 Ohms and over 250 watts into 4 Ohms, with a damping factor above 110 into 8 Ohms and input sensitivity of 510mV. Connectivity comprises one line-level input, one moving-magnet phono input, a Bluetooth input and a bypass input, with speaker terminals, a preamplifier output and a headphone output. The chassis measures 432mm wide by 90mm high by 380mm deep and weighs 14kg. The Bluetooth input supports aptX, which at the time of release put lossless-adjacent wireless streaming into a serious hi-fi amplifier rather than a lifestyle product. Reviewers rated it a benchmark at its price point, singling out the phono stage as unusually good for an integrated amplifier at this level.
