About This Model
The Polk Audio RC65i is a passive 2-way in-wall speaker pair built around a 6.5-inch mineral-filled polypropylene cone mid-bass driver and a 0.75-inch soft-dome tweeter mounted on an aimable swivel for precise directional control. Designed to work with amplifiers rated between 20 and 100 Watts RMS at 8 Ohms, they deliver a frequency response reaching down to 32 Hz and up to 20 kHz with a sensitivity of 89 dB. Connection is made via spring-loaded clips on the rear panel. A moisture-safe construction - featuring rustproof stainless steel hardware and butyl rubber surrounds - makes them suitable for bathrooms and covered porches as well as standard living spaces. The paintable grilles allow them to disappear into any wall décor, and the speakers are timbre-matched to other Polk Audio models for straightforward home theater integration.
