The Pioneer DV-350 is a slimline DVD player manufactured in Japan between 2002 and 2003, originally retailing at around 250 Euro. Beyond standard DVD and CD playback, it supports DVD-R discs, making it useful for home-recorded content. Its audio output credentials are notably strong for its class, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 118 dB, dynamic range of 101 dB, and total harmonic distortion of just 0.0016% - figures that led users to report impressive CD playback quality, particularly when routed through an optical digital output to an external DAC or amplifier. Frequency response extends to 44,000 Hz at 96 kHz sampling. Depending on the specific unit, a multizone version capable of playing region-locked discs was also available.
