About this model

The MK Sound V-1250 THX is a THX Select certified powered subwoofer designed for rooms up to 2,000 cubic feet. It centres on a single 12-inch long-throw, magnetically shielded woofer housed in a sealed MDF cabinet with internal bracing, driven by a 125-watt amplifier. Connectivity is via low-level inputs, with a rear-panel variable output control offering 0 dB, +3 dB, and Reference positions, plus a 0-180 degree phase switch. An internal 80 Hz/24 dB-per-octave low-pass filter is fitted and can be bypassed when the bass management is handled upstream. Measured frequency response reaches a lower - 3 dB point at 43 Hz and extends to - 6 dB at 32 Hz, making it capable of genuine deep-bass reproduction in dedicated home theatre and high-fidelity stereo systems.
