About This Model

The Marshall JCM800 Bass Series cabinet is part of the Integrated Bass System (IBS) line, produced from around 1985 to the early 1990s. Designed specifically to pair with Marshall bass amplifier heads such as the 1986 and 1992 models, it was built as a dedicated bass amplification solution within the JCM800 ecosystem. The range spanned a variety of speaker configurations — including 4x10, 4x12, 1x15, 2x15, and 1x18 formats — giving players flexibility to build their ideal rig. Physically, these cabinets share the same outer footprint as the classic 1960B but run approximately three inches deeper, giving them a distinctive presence on stage. This is a passive enclosure, connecting to a compatible amp head via speaker cable.
