About this model
The Mapex Double Kick Pedal is a double bass drum pedal designed for drummers who need the speed and coordination of two bass drum beaters from a single drum. Double kick pedals connect a primary pedal to a secondary slave pedal via a linkage shaft, allowing both feet to drive beaters against a single bass drum head. Mapex has built a long-standing presence in the percussion market, and their kick pedals are generally built around adjustable beater angles, cam-driven mechanisms for stroke feel, and footboard geometry suited to a range of playing styles - from rock to metal to fusion.
