About This Model

The M-Audio BX5 D3 is a bi-amplified 2-way near-field studio reference monitor delivering 100W RMS of Class A/B power, split across a 5-inch Kevlar curved cone woofer and a 1-inch natural silk dome tweeter. It covers a wide frequency range of 52 Hz to 35 kHz, with a crossover point between 2.0 and 2.5 kHz, making it well suited to detailed mixing and critical listening tasks. Connectivity is straightforward: each unit accepts both a balanced XLR and a balanced/unbalanced TRS (1/4") input, covering most studio and interface setups.
