About This Model

The Kramer TP-121EDID is a computer graphics video and stereo audio transmitter designed to extend VGA/WUXGA signals — up to 1920×1200 and 1080p — along with stereo audio over a single CAT 5 cable to distances exceeding 300 feet (100 metres). It accepts a VGA signal via a 15-pin HD connector and stereo audio via a 3.5 mm mini jack, converting the audio to a digital S/PDIF stream with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and THD+N of just 0.01%. An EDID management system stores display data in non-volatile memory, ensuring reliable handshaking between source and display. The compact form factor — under 5 inches wide — makes it easy to install at the source end of a presentation or AV distribution run.
