About this model
The JD Media PM-424DP is a power amplifier, a type of unit that takes a line-level signal from a mixer or preamp and boosts it to drive loudspeakers. Rack-mountable power amps like this are typically used in PA systems, installed sound setups and venue or fixed-install applications where a dedicated amplification stage is needed. This example includes its original box and manuals.
