About this model
The JBL CBT 70J-1 is a two-way line array column speaker built on Constant Beamwidth Technology, using four 130 mm low-frequency drivers and sixteen 25 mm high-frequency drivers to cover 60 Hz to 20 kHz. Vertical coverage is switchable between 25° for long-throw and 45° for medium-throw, with 150° of horizontal coverage and asymmetrical vertical coverage for consistent front-to-back levels. It handles 500 W continuous (2000 W peak) into 8 ohms, offers switchable Music and Speech voicing, and includes Dynamic SonicGuard overload protection. Input is via a screw-down terminal strip, and the IP-55 rating allows outdoor use with the optional panel cover.
