This Jackson Pro Origins 1985 San Dimas SD1A is a mint-condition electric guitar. It has passed our full 9-point functional test with perfect results. Cosmetically mint — virtually no issues at all. Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product.
The Jackson Pro Origins 1985 San Dimas SD1A is a faithful recreation of the stripped-down, high-performance shred machine that defined Jackson's early identity. Built around an alder body with a gloss finish and the iconic San Dimas body shape, it pairs a bolt-on maple neck — reinforced with graphite and featuring a scarf joint — with a maple fingerboard and a 12"–16" compound radius that flattens out as you move up the neck for effortless bending and lead work. The Speed Neck profile keeps things fast, while 22 jumbo frets and a 25.5" scale length deliver the classic tight, articulate response. A Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo system handles bridge and nut duties, keeping tuning stable through even the most aggressive divebombs. The single Jackson J-90C humbucker at the bridge, paired with simple volume and tone controls, keeps the signal path lean and focused — all finished in black hardware throughout.
A great opportunity to own a Jackson Pro Origins 1985 San Dimas SD1A at this price point.
