Why This One

A genuine Painted Player Guitar Co. build, not a factory Epiphone finish. TPP are a UK team of luthiers and artists who take a donor instrument and refinish it entirely by hand, colour-matched to Noel Gallagher's original "Union Jack" Sheraton. This is their Supreme Edition: an Epiphone Sheraton II Pro upgraded to Gallagher's 62 Sheraton specification with mini humbuckers and a Frequensator reissue tailpiece, then hand painted front, back, sides and neck.

It comes with its original TPP Certificate of Authenticity, and the paperwork matches the instrument exactly. The certificate records TPP serial TPP-UJ: 000126 and base serial Epiphone 21061527740. The same TPP serial is stamped on the rear of the headstock, and the Epiphone serial is on the factory label inside the body. Full provenance, front to back.

Condition: Good

Used and honestly marked. The finish is bright and the artwork is sharp, but there are a few things to know:

Black scuffing and light abrasion to the blue paint on the lower bout rim, on both sides. This is the most noticeable wear on the guitar and it is shown close up in several photographs.
Light surface scratches to the red areas of the top.
Two faint circular impressions visible in the finish on the top, where the original stop tailpiece stud holes were filled during the Frequensator conversion. This is inherent to the build rather than damage.
Gold plating worn through on several tuner buttons.
Light marks to the white finish around the neck heel and the end of the fingerboard.
Fully tested, all applicable functions verified working.

What's Included

Black hardshell case, plush lined, as supplied by TPP with the guitar. Original TPP Certificate of Authenticity and yellow TPP folder.
