About This Model
The Chord Active DI Box is a direct injection unit designed to convert unbalanced instrument-level signals into balanced, low-impedance signals suitable for connection to mixing desks, PA systems, and audio interfaces. Active DI boxes use an internal preamp circuit - typically powered by battery or phantom power - to provide high input impedance, making them well suited to passive instruments such as acoustic guitars, bass guitars, and keyboards where signal integrity and noise rejection over longer cable runs are important.
