About this model
The Cambridge CXA81 is a Class AB integrated stereo amplifier built around a toroidal transformer, with separate symmetrical left and right channels and independent power supply rectification. It delivers 80W RMS into 8 ohms and 120W RMS into 4 ohms, and supports two pairs of speakers (A and B). Onboard is an ESS Sabre ES9016K2M DAC handling up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256 over USB, alongside coaxial and optical digital inputs, Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX HD, four RCA line inputs and a balanced XLR input. A headphone jack, preamp output and subwoofer output round out the connectivity, and RS-232 and 12V trigger ports allow integration with home automation setups.
A great opportunity to own a Cambridge CXA81 at this price point.
