About This Model

The Boss FS-5L is a latching footswitch, meaning each press toggles the connected device on or off and holds that state until pressed again. It connects via a standard 1/4" TS (mono) jack and a regular TS patch cable, and features switchable polarity to suit different host devices. An LED indicator provides clear on/off status at a glance, powered by 2x AAA batteries. It is compatible with a wide range of Boss and Roland gear including Katana amplifiers, RC looper pedals, GT-1, GT-100, and GT-1000 multi-effects units, as well as many Boss compact pedals. Built to Boss's characteristically robust standard, the FS-5L is a straightforward and durable solution for hands-free channel switching, effects loop control, or any compatible function on supported devices.
