About this model
The Blackstar St. James 50 6L6 Combo is an all-valve guitar amplifier built around two ECC83 preamp tubes and two 6L6 output tubes, delivering 50 watts RMS that can be dropped to 2 watts or switched into Sag mode for vintage-style compression. It has two footswitchable channels, with a footswitchable Channel II voice (OD 1/OD 2), a series effects loop with level switch and digital reverb. For recording and silent practice it adds a built-in reactive load, the Cab Rig DSP cabinet simulator, and balanced XLR, USB audio and headphone/line outputs. The 1x12 combo uses a Candlenut plywood cabinet and weighs 12.8 kg, and a 2-way footswitch is included with the amp.
