About this model
The Behringer Tube Composer T1952 is a dual-channel-capable audio dynamics processor combining compressor, expander and limiter functions in a 2U, 19" rack format. It pairs a 12AX7/ECC83 vacuum tube stage in Behringer's Ultra Tube Circuit for harmonic warmth with 4580 op-amps handling the core dynamics. IKA (Interactive Knee Adaptation) blends soft and hard knee compression, while the IGC peak limiter and IRC expander/gate help control peaks and noise. Balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs and outputs, side chain send/return jacks, a switchable side chain filter, a CH 1 MASTER stereo mode and relay-based hard bypass make it adaptable for tracking, mixing and live rack setups.
