About This Model

The Behringer Europower PMP580S is a 10-channel powered mixer delivering 500 watts of Class-D amplification (2 x 250W stereo at 4 Ohms), making it a self-contained solution for live sound reinforcement. It features six mono channels with eight IMP mic preamps - each with switchable 48V phantom power - plus two stereo channels and a 1/8" aux input. Onboard processing includes a KLARK TEKNIK 24-bit Multi-FX processor with 25 presets covering reverb, chorus, flanger, delay and pitch shifting, alongside per-channel one-knob compressors with LED metering and stereo 7-band graphic EQs on both the main and monitor outputs. The FBQ Feedback Detection System highlights problem frequencies in real time, and a dedicated standby switch allows background music to continue via the aux input while muting all other channels. A switch-mode power supply keeps noise low and power consumption efficient.
