About This Model

The Ashdown MAG 300H is a bass amp head delivering 307 watts RMS into a minimum 4-ohm load, with a frequency response of -3dB at 17Hz–30kHz and less than 0.5% THD. Its 5-band EQ covers Bass, Lo Mid, Middle, Hi Mid, and Treble — each with ±15dB of cut or boost — giving extensive tonal control across the full bass frequency range. Standout features include a sub-harmonic generator that adds an octave-below signal with adjustable level, a built-in compressor, and front-panel Bright and Deep switches for quick voicing changes. Connectivity is comprehensive: two instrument inputs (high and low impedance), a line input, balanced DI output, tuner output, and a full effects loop via send and return jacks.
