About This Model

The AKG D5 is a dynamic handheld vocal microphone built around AKG's Laminated-Varimotion diaphragm and a supercardioid pickup pattern, delivering a tight, focused sound that rejects off-axis noise and feedback on stage. Its transducer assembly is shockmounted within an elastic suspension system, significantly reducing handling noise during live performance.
