It pairs a single VCO offering pulse, sawtooth and noise waveforms with a multi-mode filter (12dB/oct resonant low-pass and high-pass, plus 6dB/oct band-pass) and a built-in LFO with sine, sawtooth and sample & hold waveforms. The 37-key keyboard uses synth action rather than weighted keys, and an external audio input lets you run other instruments through the filter. As with synths of its era, there is no MIDI and no patch memory, so sounds are dialled in by hand.

A great opportunity to own a Yamaha CS-5 at this price point.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0775/6913/0833/files/937c0f8f-3feb-4899-ab5a-9b83d68ab6ba.jpg?v=1793871477
