It supports both Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges via dedicated stereo RCA inputs, with 39dB of gain for MM and 55dB for MC, and a nominal output of 300mV for both. RIAA equalization is handled passively using multi-parallel capacitors, while discrete low-noise transistors and single-ended class-A gain stages keep distortion exceptionally low — 0.005% THD for MM and 0.002% for MC across the full 20Hz–20kHz range. An on\/off subsonic filter removes inaudible low-frequency content, and copper shielding protects the sensitive input circuitry from interference.
