Its mid-focused voicing, with a hump around 800Hz, makes it a popular choice both for adding grit and as a clean boost or tightener in front of high-gain amps. Three simple controls (Drive, Tone and Level) keep it easy to dial in, and it runs from a 9V DC supply or a single 9V battery. Note that it uses buffered bypass rather than true bypass, and the tough metal chassis is built to handle regular gigging.

A great opportunity to own a Boss SD-1 at this price point.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0775/6913/0833/files/d03d1fb4-d3d5-44be-a046-d6af709c7a65.jpg?v=1791534716
https://www.audiotrader.co.uk/products/boss-sd-1-overdrive-distortion-pedals-excellent-w-original-box-manuals
