It appears to be faulty and is not in working order. The plate does not move consistently and makes a scraping sound when it turns, and the needle is very intermittent, refusing to move onto the vinyl easily. With these issues, we were unable to even play a record, so unfortunately it has been deemed 'not fit for purpose'. No repair has been attempted, and we'd encourage you to look closely at the photos to judge the cosmetic condition for yourself.

What's included

This listing includes the item only as shown in photos.

About the item

When working, the Beogram 3000 is a Bang & Olufsen turntable from the brand's well-regarded era of minimalist Danish audio design, known for its sleek styling and distinctive build. As a repair project it could appeal to those comfortable with vintage hi-fi servicing, particularly given the mechanical issues described above. Alternatively, it may offer useful components for anyone looking to source parts for another unit.

Important notice

This item is sold as-is for spares or repair purposes only.
